New artwork and a brief update

Greetings to all my fine feathered internet friends! Long time no post. I finally got around to uploading some new artwork (mostly collages I’ve completed over the last two years). For example:

I’m still planning on updating this site at some point but I’m rather involved in other things right now. Among those other things: living in Denver, training a young puppy and working on a non-fiction book that should hopefully be wrapped up within about six months. Also, DJing. More details on the book project to come; it’s a doozy.

The Chronicles of Sophy Bot at the Start of 2010

Well hello dear friends, and bom dia from Portugal! I have been living here since September (with the exception of 6 weeks spent across Barcelona, Milan and Berlin) and intend on staying until mid-March, at which point I shall make my triumphant return to good old Nova Iorque.

HOLY BOOGERS I'M A DJ NOW

Yessiree, that’s yours truly DJing at a big ole party down in the countryside of Alentejo, Portugal on New Year’s Eve 2010. This new project is done in conjunction with my new partner in crime, Portuguese artist João Raposo… and together we are The Sherlocks audiovisual spectacular fun-time show. Mixes are forthcoming and will be posted here in due time. Give me a shout (sophybot at gmail dot com) if you know anything about scoring bookings.

You guessed it – the brand-spankin’ new (I hope) Lady de Guadalupe Steel Casket. Presumably for those times when you’re stocking up on cheez doodles and twinkies and XXXL Packers t-shirts and thinking – is this really all there is? Well just head on over to the handgun department and then pick yourself up one of these shiny blue babies. Apparently it also comes with something called a Memory Tube, which I’m going to ahead and assume is either a USB thumb drive or else just one of those Harry Potter pensieve memory things. Then again, you could always just fill it up with some of those cheez doodles to make sure you have a nice little snacky-poo on hand for the long burning road down to Hades.
